Hi, I was just wanting to meet and talk to other blind/v.i.p. cooks. Anyone interested?
I'm v.i. and I love to cook, though with my busy schedule and lazy family, I don't get very many opportunities. Our oven doesn't work that well and the automatic gas thing went out on our stove, so we have to light it every time. Thankfully, we have one of those long lighters where you press the button instead of fooling with matches. I've cooked mostly desserts and simple things like eggs and hamburgers, but once I move away from my parents' house, I'll start collecting recipes and such online and from everywhere else I can get them.
let me know and I'll give you quite a few good recipe sites
Hey, I just remembered, a friend of mine is looking for a recipe and maybe you might know where to find it and give me the link to give her. It's for Wisconsin raw apple cake. There have been other raw apple cake recipes she found, but they weren't the same, and the only relative who had the recipe is dead and didn't pass it on to her. Take your time, no hurry, but thanks in advance. That goes for anyone else who likes to look up recipes, I just am too busy!
